What you can expect from the session

• By the end of the day  you should feel confident to climb independently at any climbing wall in the UK

• Learn how to use a climbing harness correctly and tie a figure of Eight

• Learn to belay safely using a range of different belay devices as well as practice catching a falling climber

• Find out more about the variety of climbing shoes and their use on the wall 

• Explore the fundamentals of climbing technique which will help you progress in your climbing journey

• The session includes induction to bouldering and auto belays 

• All of the equipment is provided. The cost includes all of the hire and the entry to the climbing wall 

• The duration is 6 hours with a lunch break

• No previous experience is required
